A photo galley from this weekend’s tenth ritual

While New York City and a majority of the blogosphere was CMJing like crazy, New Orleans gave itself over to the 10th edition of the Voodoo Music Festival. This year, saw headlining sets from REM, Stone Temple Pilots and Nine Inch Nails, who were the obvious crowd favorites of the weekend, which isn’t surprising since Trent Reznor lived locally for many years.

Also performing this year were Erykah Badu, Lil’ Wayne, Joss Stone, Cold War Kids, Man Man, Reverend Horton Heat, Panic at the Disco, TV on the Radio, Fishbone, Old 97’s, Tokyo Police Club, Gutter Twins, Shudder to Think, Butthole Surfers, Mars Volta, Ghostland Observatory, DevotchKa, Eli “Paperboy” Reed and the True Loves and many others.
